Simulated

QI

Project

This 2-hr curriculum is a simulated QI project for improving morning laboratory efficiency. The project uses an A3 to walk through background, current state, root causes, targets & metrics, and a PDSA cycle for a quality improvement project. The PowerPoint includes didactics on how to view and interpret data (histograms, pareto charts, run charts) and provides all the data necessary to complete the simulated project embedded within the website. To foster resident engagement three “Choose your own adventure” options are available for teams to create different projects and get differing outcomes.
